The Village of Hilliard OH became incorporated on July 13, 1869 with a population of 280 residents. Today, with a population of approximately 60,000, Hilliard is known for its close proximity to the I-270 local outer belt and easy access to well-known I-70 and I-71. Strategic location and a strong community ensure this veritable mix of small town values, contemporary homes, and local businesses will continue to have a major economic and social impact on the central Ohio region.

Ten miles northwest of downtown Columbus, the Hilliard area is bordered by the Big Darby Creek on the west, the Scioto River on the east. The area covers portions of the city of Columbus, the city of Dublin, Norwich Township and Washington Township.
